I'm organizing my friend's 16th birthday party, but I'm not sure of where to host it. No cruises please, because we're having our school formal there next year. We'd just like a nice hall, with a dance floor for about 20 people.
Any suggestions?

Go for any open places around the Sydney Harbour.

I do not think there is anything that goes against celebrating the B'day on the Cruises.. Actually I love being on the cruises along with my friends. Last Saturday we hosted my best friend Joshua's birthday on a cruises called http://www.birthdaypartycruises.com.au/ That was a really awesome birthday party away from the crowd.. Our Private bday party on the Sydney Harbour rocked...

Some times as students you may not afford it this time, but sure later you can celebrate the grand party onboard cruise boat or yachts...

If money is one of your concern why not think about the locations that are free say on the Top of your Flats, Houses etc... Discuss with your friends and relatives and host your event over there..

Since there is only 20 people that would be good idea rather than hosting at some expensive halls nearer to your house...

I am sure your parents or close friends will come to your help in choosing the venue..
